2021 International Codes adoption is coming soon! The Pennsylvania Uniform Construction Code will begin utilizing the 2021 International Codes starting July 13, 2025.
What This Means:
All building, electrical, plumbing, and mechanical code references in Pennsylvania will transition to the updated 2021 I-Codes.
Effective Date for Permit Applications:
All new permit applications filed on or after January 13, 2026 MUST comply with the 2021 I-Codes.
